So far two kids are home, I am waiting on the bus for Cassandra and Savannah. I know at least Griffin and Alyssa had a great day! Griffin loves his teacher, Mrs. McDonald. He told me he was quiet, he listened and he was rewarded for doing so. I am so proud of him, he is starting off the school year on the right foot!
Alyssa has a nice, small class of about 15 kids. She sits next to a little boy named Boe and a little girl named Arianna. She seemed pretty comfy. She likes her teacher and they went to the library where Mrs. P read them a story. I reminded her she has to go back tomorrow and she said that sounds great!
Shane knows how blue I am on the 1st day of school, he was here to help get everyone to school. He even came home midday to help get Alyssa to her first day (pm kinder) and he let me hang out with him this afternoon at work and we went to lunch. It was nice to have a mini - date :)
