March Madness!

Hi Everyone!

Wow, it's March already??? I know I keep saying that every month but I am truly surprised each time we pass into the next month!

It has been very busy here! We just had our school Spring Fling on Saturday (6th) and it went great! It was a lot of work but very worth all the efforts!

The kids are good. Cassandra has started a new book series after it was suggested by her teacher. The first book is called Sabriel and she loves it! There are 2 more books after this one. I think she'll have no problem sticking with the series. She made her AR goal again this quarter. She also brought her math grade up 10% so we are very proud of her! She had been straight As but then along came adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and it threw her for a loop! She's back on track now though!  Savannah is doing well, her grades have held steady :) She has lots of activities going on in her classroom for this month. Part of a "March Madness" theme her teacher has. She has a sinus infection right now but she saw the doctor today and is on some medication. I hope she is feeling better soon! Griffin is still...Griffin LOL! He's back in a whiney phase right now. He is really ready for spring break. All the kids have had a bit of spring fever the last couple of weeks. HE seems to be the one hit hardest though :(  Alyssa is good, she is ready for a break from PTO for the next couple of weeks too! She sure was a trooper going to all the stuff I needed to be at for Spring Fling and PTO meetings. Everyone at school knows who she is! She still loves Savannah's teacher best, Mr. J

Shane is busy but good. He spent a few days in Colorado visiting his grandpa. Harry is not well, he has lung cancer and a myriad of other health ailments. I am glad Shane made the trip to see him since the end seems to be looming. I wish we all could have gone but it just wasn't in the cards for that at this time.

I'm good, keeping out of trouble for the most part~ha ha! I am still playing World of Warcraft. I made it to level 30 now! I'm hooked, no doubt about that. I am down 62 lbs, only 48 more to go. I know I can do it, I just hope I can do it by December! I'm actually going with Shane to his water conference in Vegas in December. I'd like to be fitting into my "trophy" clothes when I head off to Vegas. We'll see. I need to be back into the groove of riding the exercise bike more often. With all that has gone on with PTO I have let that slide again.
